About the Hager price lists

The latest Hager price list on this page took effect on 1 September 2026, and the edition it replaced is kept beside it so you can see what moved. Its cover describes the range as energy distribution, controls and wiring accessories. This guide explains what each part of the list covers, how to compare editions, and how the printed price becomes your rate.

What the Hager price list covers

Hager publishes one list for its Indian range, organised under the three headings on its cover.

Because one list covers all three, the contents pages at the front of the PDF are the fastest way in. For a building, price the distribution board and its devices together: a board, its breakers and its accessories are separate lines.

Comparing two Hager editions

This page keeps the previous edition beside the current one, which makes it easy to see what a revision did to the lines you buy.

  1. Note the reference of each line you buy often.
  2. Find it in both editions and compare the two prices.
  3. Check that the reference itself has not changed; a new generation can arrive under a new reference while the old one is withdrawn.
  4. Ask your seller whether their quotation is built on the current edition, and how long its rate holds.

A revision rarely moves every line by the same amount, so a percentage quoted for the whole list is a poor guide to your own bill. Our post on switchgear price increases explains how a revision reaches the quotations on your desk.

Pricing a complete Hager distribution board

A distribution board is the purchase where Hager quotations most often fail to compare, because the board and what goes in it are separate lines. List every part before you ask for a rate:

  1. The enclosure, by number of ways, single or three phase, and mounting.
  2. The incomer — isolator, MCB or RCCB — with its rating and poles.
  3. The outgoing MCBs for each circuit, by curve, current and breaking capacity.
  4. Residual current protection for the circuits that need it, as RCCBs or RCBOs.
  5. Any surge protection, and the blanking plates and accessories that finish the board.

A quotation that prices the enclosure alone is not cheaper than one that prices the populated board; it is incomplete.

How to read a line in the Hager list

Each line carries a reference, a description and a price. For protective devices, the description carries the ratings that make one reference different from the next — poles, rated current, tripping curve, breaking capacity and, for residual current devices, sensitivity and type. Check all of them against the circuit before ordering, and quote the reference rather than the description. Our post on the 20 most used electrical components lists the ratings to specify for each common device.

List price, GST and the rate you pay

Check the list's terms for its price basis: a list price before tax has GST added to the net rate, while an MRP already includes taxes. Sellers quote Hager as a discount off the list, and the discount varies with the product family and the quantity.

Compare quotations on landed cost per reference — net rate, freight and payment terms — and on the dispatch date, not on the discount alone. Our guide to reading a switchgear quotation works through a comparison, and our post on switchgear lead times explains why a line that is not in stock can cost more than its rate suggests.

Buying genuine Hager products

Buy through Hager's authorised channel, and check what arrives — marking, packaging, weight and the invoice trail — against our guide to verifying genuine switchgear. For comparisons across makes in final distribution and wiring accessories, the Legrand and Schneider Electric price lists are on this site too.

Questions about the Hager price list

Where can I download the Hager price list 2026 PDF?

On this page. The current edition, effective 1 September 2026, is the first card above, with the previous edition beside it. Each card opens the maker's PDF in a new tab.

Does the Hager price list include switches and sockets?

Yes. Wiring accessories are one of the three sections the cover names, alongside energy distribution and controls.

Is GST included in the Hager price list?

Check the terms in the list. Prices stated before tax have GST added to the net rate; an MRP already includes taxes.

What changed in the latest Hager price list?

Compare the lines you buy in the current and previous editions on this page. A revision can move each family by a different amount, and some references may be replaced by new ones.

What discount is given on the Hager price list?

It varies with the seller, the product family and the quantity, so there is no single figure. Ask for net rates on the same references and compare landed cost.
