What buyelectrical is
buyelectrical exists so that the people who specify, buy and sell electrical goods can find reliable information in one place. The team behind VendorStocks runs it, and it publishes four things:
- Price lists. Manufacturers' price lists, as the PDFs the makers issue, sorted by brand and edition in the price list library.
- Guides. Articles on switchgear, cable and procurement from the VendorStocks team, on the buyelectrical blog.
- Product information. The categories, the switchgear range and the makers VendorStocks lists, set out on our home page.
- Marketplace news. What is new on VendorStocks, and how to make use of it.
Nothing is bought or sold here. buyelectrical has no accounts, carts or payments, and it does not take orders or requests for quotation. When you browse products, raise an RFQ or book a demo, you leave for vendorstocks.com.
Where our news and updates come from
News, updates and informational content on buyelectrical are updated from the VendorStocks website. VendorStocks is where the trade happens, so it is where a change shows up first: a new maker or listing, a new price list edition, a change to how the marketplace works. We bring those changes here, so what you read on this site matches the marketplace you buy on.
- Price lists come from VendorStocks' price list library. When a maker issues a new edition and VendorStocks adds it, it appears here under that brand with its date, and the edition before it stays alongside, marked as earlier.
- Product and brand information follows the VendorStocks catalogue. The categories, ranges and makers described here are the ones listed there.
- Guides and articles are written by the VendorStocks team. Any figure in them comes from VendorStocks' own records and nowhere else.
- News and announcements about the marketplace, such as new features, sellers and makers, are taken from vendorstocks.com and published here once they are live there.
Price lists carry their edition and articles their dates, so you can see how current each one is. If this site and vendorstocks.com ever disagree, vendorstocks.com is the current one. Live listings, sellers' prices and stock are shown only there.

buyelectrical and VendorStocks are both run by Skylights Energy, a name in the Indian power market since 2013. Its team has spent more than a decade in energy management and electrical consultancy, and that is the experience this site draws on: it is written by people who know the business of energy and electricals, for the people who work in it.
Skylights Energy is based in Bengaluru and serves buyers and sellers across India.
