About the ABB price lists

The latest ABB price list on this page is the electrification products edition dated 10 August 2026, with its earlier editions kept alongside so you can see what changed, and ABB's builders and contractors list beside them. Both are the maker's own PDFs. This guide explains what each covers, how to find a line, and how an ABB list price becomes the rate you actually pay.

What the ABB price lists cover

ABB publishes its Indian prices by business rather than in one book, and two lists matter to most buyers of low-voltage equipment.

The editions table above lists every PDF on this page by line, newest first. Use the newest edition of each line for a current quotation, and the earlier ones only to see how a price has moved.

How to find a price in the ABB list

An ABB list is arranged by product family and then by rating, and every line carries the catalogue reference you order by. To find a price quickly:

  1. Find the family first — MCBs, MCCBs, contactors and so on — from the contents pages at the front of the PDF.
  2. Within it, narrow by the ratings that change the product: poles, rated current, breaking capacity, release type and, for contactors, the coil voltage.
  3. Read the full catalogue reference for the line, and quote that reference, not the description, when you ask a seller for a rate.
  4. Check the accessory pages separately. Shunt trips, auxiliary contacts, rotary handles and similar parts are priced as lines of their own, not inside the device price.

When you already have a reference, search the PDF for it rather than for the product name: names repeat across families, references do not. If the reference on an old drawing is missing from the current list, the item may have moved to a newer generation — our guide to switchgear brand cross-referencing explains what to check before you accept a successor or an equivalent.

From ABB list price to the rate you pay

The figure in the ABB list is where a quotation starts, not where it ends. Sellers in India quote ABB as a discount off the list, and the discount depends on their slab with the brand, the product family and the size of the order — so two quotations for the same reference can differ, and both can be honest.

Our guide to reading a switchgear quotation works through list price, discount slab and net rate with an example, and our post on switchgear price increases explains how a new edition reaches the quotations on your desk.

How often ABB revises its price list

ABB does not revise on a fixed calendar. The editions on this page show the pattern for the electrification products list: more than one edition inside a single year, each with its own effective date printed in the PDF. A revision can move some families and leave others untouched, so compare the line you buy rather than assuming one percentage across the whole book.

A new edition replaces the old one for new orders from its effective date. Orders accepted at a firm price before then normally keep their rate; anything priced at the rate ruling on dispatch takes the new list. Agree which applies before you order a line with a long lead time.

Buying genuine ABB products

Well-known switchgear brands are the ones counterfeiters copy, because they sell in volume and are often installed by people who never see a genuine unit beside the one they are fitting. Buy through ABB's authorised channel, ask a new seller for the invoice trail back to it, and check what arrives against the four steps in our guide to verifying genuine switchgear.

A rate far below the list less a normal discount is a warning sign in itself. The list on this page is the reference any genuine quotation starts from. For comparisons across makes, the Schneider Electric and Siemens price lists are on this site too.

Questions about the ABB price list

Where can I download the ABB price list 2026 PDF?

On this page. The newest electrification products edition, dated 10 August 2026, is the first card above, with the builders and contractors list beside it. Each card opens the maker's own PDF in a new tab.

Is GST included in the ABB price list?

It depends on the basis printed in the list. Prices stated as list prices are normally before GST, which is added on the net rate; prices stated as MRP include all taxes. Check the terms pages of the edition you are using.

What discount do dealers give on ABB list prices?

There is no single figure. The discount depends on the seller's slab with ABB, the product family and the order size, and large projects can be quoted on project pricing. Ask several sellers for a net rate on the same catalogue reference and compare landed cost.

Does the ABB price list include accessories?

Accessories are listed as their own lines. Shunt trips, undervoltage releases, auxiliary contacts and handles are priced apart from the devices they fit, so price them together with the device.

How do I know an ABB price list is the latest?

Check the effective date printed in the PDF against the newest edition on this page. A seller's quotation should also name the edition it is built on. Our price list index shows every brand we track.
