What the C&S Electric list covers
C&S Electric publishes its low-voltage range in one list, titled LV Components and Solutions on its cover. It covers the protection, switching and control devices that LT panels and distribution boards are built from, with their accessories, and the larger assemblies the maker offers as solutions.
One list for a broad range means many sections. Use the contents pages at the front of the PDF to reach the family, then narrow by rating. For a panel, price the devices and their accessories together: shunt releases, auxiliary contacts, handles and terminal parts are lines of their own.
Where the list prices a solution — an assembly rather than a single device — read its scope carefully. What the assembly price includes, and what is quoted as an extra, decides whether two offers for the same job can be compared at all.
How to find a price in the C&S Electric list
- Find the product family from the contents pages.
- Narrow by the ratings that change the reference: poles, rated current, breaking capacity at your system voltage, release type and, for contactors, coil voltage.
- Copy the full reference for the line, and quote it rather than the description.
- Price every accessory the feeder needs as its own line.
Breaking capacity deserves a second look. Where a frame is offered in more than one breaking capacity, the lower version is cheaper and easy to pick by mistake; it must still be at least the prospective fault current where it is installed. How often C&S Electric revises its list
The editions on this page show C&S Electric revising its list more than once in a year, each edition with its own effective date. When a new edition takes effect, quotations built on the old one hold only until their validity runs out, and an approved quotation that waits past it can be re-issued at the new list.

Check the list's terms for its price basis — before tax or inclusive of it — before you compare anything.
