About the Elmeasure price lists
The current Elmeasure price list on this page is its price book of Maximum Retail Prices, effective 1 April 2026, with the previous edition beside it. Elmeasure makes metering and power monitoring equipment, and this guide explains how its list is organised, how to read a meter line, what to specify, and how an MRP turns into the rate you pay.

What the Elmeasure price book covers
The price book covers Elmeasure's metering range: single-parameter panel meters for current, voltage or frequency, multifunction and energy meters that measure many parameters at once, and the power monitoring devices and accessories that sit around them. It is arranged by family and then by model, and each model carries the options that make it one product rather than another.
Both editions on this page take effect in April, at the start of the financial year, so if you are pricing a project that straddles April, check which edition each quotation is built on.
How to read a meter line
A meter's model code usually carries the options that change its price. Before comparing two quotations, check each of these against the line:
- Parameters. A single-parameter meter, a multifunction meter and an energy meter are different products, even when they share a case size.
- Accuracy class. The class printed for energy measurement, which matters most where the reading is used for billing or cost allocation.
- CT input. Whether the meter takes a 1 A or a 5 A current transformer secondary, which must match the CTs on the panel.
- Communication. Whether it has a port, such as RS-485 Modbus, to feed a building management or energy monitoring system.
- Auxiliary supply and size. The supply voltage the meter needs, and the panel cut-out it fits, such as 96 × 96 mm.
Two meters with similar descriptions and different codes can differ on any of these, which is usually where an apparent price difference comes from.
Choosing the right meter before you price it
Specify the meter from the job, not from the last panel:
- Decide what the reading is for — local indication, monitoring, or billing and cost allocation — because that sets the parameters and the accuracy class.
- Match the CT input to the CTs, and check the CTs' own class and burden: a meter is only as accurate as the CT that feeds it.
- Add communication only if a system will read it, but add it then, since retrofitting a port means replacing the meter.
- Check the auxiliary supply available in the panel and the cut-out size on the door.
Our post on the most common switchgear ordering errors explains why a CT of the wrong class or burden spoils a good meter, and our post on the 20 most used electrical components lists what to specify for meters and CTs together.
Maximum Retail Price, GST and discount
The cover of the price book states Maximum Retail Prices. Under India's packaged-commodity rules an MRP is the most a buyer can be charged, inclusive of all taxes, so GST is already inside the figure; do not add it again. Trade buyers are normally quoted a discount off MRP, and the discount varies with the seller and the quantity. When you compare quotations, ask whether each net rate is shown inclusive of GST or before it, and compare on the same basis. Our guide to reading a switchgear quotation explains landed cost in full.
Buying genuine Elmeasure meters
Buy through Elmeasure's authorised channel, check the model, serial and marking against the maker's documents, and keep the invoice trail. Our guide to verifying genuine switchgear sets out the checks, which apply to meters as much as to breakers. For comparisons, the Prok DVS and Selec price lists are on this site, and Schneider Electric's metering products are in the Schneider Electric lists.
Questions about the Elmeasure price list
Where can I download the Elmeasure price list 2026 PDF?
On this page. The current price book, effective 1 April 2026, is the first card above, with the previous edition beside it. Each opens the maker's PDF in a new tab.
Does the Elmeasure price list include GST?
The price book states Maximum Retail Prices, which include all taxes. Ask whether a seller's discounted rate is shown inclusive of GST or before it.
What is the difference between a multifunction meter and an energy meter?
A multifunction meter measures and displays many electrical parameters at once; an energy meter is built around recording energy consumed. Many models do both, so specify which readings you need and the accuracy class for each.
Do I need a 1 A or a 5 A meter?
Match the meter's CT input to the secondary current of the CTs it connects to. Long cable runs between CT and meter are one reason panels use 1 A CTs.
When does Elmeasure revise its price list?
Both editions on this page take effect in April, at the start of the financial year. Check the effective date on the cover of the edition a quotation uses.
